Welcome to Lucette Travel LLC (“Lucette Travel,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our website at https://lucette.travel (“the Website”) or engaging our travel planning and design services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).
These Terms apply to all Website visitors, prospective clients, current clients, travelers, and anyone interacting with Lucette Travel.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Website or our services.
1. Services Provided
Lucette Travel LLC provides luxury travel design and planning services, including:
• Custom itineraries
• Hotel, villa, and resort reservations
• Private tours and experiences
• Cruises and expeditions
• Destination weddings
• Groups and multi-generational travel
• Corporate and incentive travel
• Concierge-level services through Lucette Reserve
Lucette Travel acts solely as an agent when arranging services provided by independent third-party suppliers (“Suppliers”).
All bookings are subject to Supplier terms, policies, availability, and conditions.
Lucette Travel is not responsible for Supplier decisions, performance, or actions.
2. User Responsibilities
By using the Website or our services, you agree to:
• Provide complete and accurate information
• Follow all applicable laws
• Not interfere with Website functionality
• Not attempt scraping, unauthorized access, or copying
• Not use our itineraries or materials for competing purposes
You are responsible for any consequences resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information.
3. Bookings, Pricing & Payments
Booking Confirmation
Bookings are not confirmed until written Supplier confirmation is issued.
Payments
Payment requirements vary by Supplier and will be provided before booking.
By providing a payment method, you authorize Lucette Travel and Suppliers to charge deposits, final payments, fees, penalties, and Supplier-imposed changes.
Chargebacks
You agree not to initiate a chargeback for any charge that aligns with these Terms or Supplier policies.
Pricing Changes
Prices may change until paid in full. Suppliers may adjust pricing due to:
• Currency exchange
• Fuel charges
• Taxes and government fees
You agree to pay any such Supplier-imposed increases.
4. Design Fees
Lucette Travel charges non-refundable, non-transferable Design Fees starting at $750 USD.
These fees:
• Are required before itinerary design begins
• Compensate for research, expertise, and planning
• Do not apply to trip costs
• Are valid for six months
• Are non-refundable under all circumstances
5. Lucette Travel Cancellation Fee
If you cancel your trip after planning has begun, you agree to pay:
$500 Lucette Travel Cancellation Fee per booking file
This fee is:
• Separate from Supplier penalties
• Non-refundable
• Due immediately upon cancellation
• Charged to the payment method on file
6. Rescheduling Fee
If you request to change or reschedule a trip after planning has started:
$500 Lucette Travel Rescheduling Fee per booking file
Supplier change fees also apply.
7. Client Inactivity
If you become unresponsive for 14 days, your planning file will be considered abandoned.
A new Design Fee is required to resume planning.
8. Travel Documentation
You are solely responsible for ensuring all travelers have:
• Valid passports
• Visas
• Vaccinations
• Entry permits
• Any required documentation
Passports must be valid at least six months beyond return date.
Lucette Travel is not responsible for denied boarding, entry refusal, or additional expenses caused by documentation issues.
9. Travel Insurance
Lucette Travel strongly recommends comprehensive travel insurance.
If you decline travel insurance or do not purchase it within 48 hours of receiving a quote, you accept full responsibility for:
• Losses
• Penalties
• Medical expenses
• Emergency costs
All insurance claims must be submitted directly to the insurer.
10. Third-Party Bookings
Lucette Travel is not responsible for any travel components booked independently, including:
• Online travel agencies
• Direct hotel or airline bookings
• Credit card portal bookings
Issues with these bookings must be handled directly with the provider.
11. Intellectual Property
All content and materials created by Lucette Travel LLC are the exclusive property of Lucette Travel LLC, including:
• Website content
• Logos & branding
• Custom itineraries
• Proposals & trip designs
• Destination guides
• Planning materials
You may not copy, share, publish, distribute, reuse, or use Lucette Travel materials for competitive purposes.
Using a Lucette Travel itinerary to book independently or through another agent is strictly prohibited.
12. Traveler Information Accuracy
You must provide accurate:
• Legal names
• Dates of birth
• Passport details
• Contact information
Lucette Travel is not responsible for errors, penalties, or trip disruptions caused by incorrect information.
13. Client Conduct
All travelers must comply with:
• Local laws
• Supplier rules
• Cultural guidelines
• Safety instructions
Suppliers may remove disruptive travelers without refund.
14. Review of Travel Documents
You must review all travel documents within 24 hours of receipt.
Lucette Travel is not responsible for errors reported after this window.
15. Website Use
You agree not to:
• Copy Website content
• Use bots, scrapers, or automation
• Upload harmful code
• Misrepresent your identity
• Attempt to bypass security
Website access may be revoked for violations.
16. Health, Safety & Risk
Travel involves inherent risks, including:
• Illness or injury
• Delays
• Weather events
• Natural disasters
• Supplier changes
By using our services, you voluntarily assume all risks.
17. Force Majeure
Lucette Travel is not liable for delays or disruptions caused by events outside our control, including:
• Natural disasters
• Pandemics
• War or terrorism
• Government restrictions
• Strikes or airline shutdowns
Design Fees and cancellation/rescheduling fees remain non-refundable.
18. Limitation of Liability
Lucette Travel is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid directly to Lucette Travel for our services.
19. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Lucette Travel harmless for claims arising from:
• Your actions or omissions
• Supplier actions
• Travel documentation failures
• Your decision not to purchase insurance
• Violations of these Terms
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in Charleston County, South Carolina.
21. Changes to These Terms
Lucette Travel may update these Terms at any time.
Your continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
